Day 1: NJP / IXB Airport – Phuentsholing

Arrive at NJP Station or IXB Airport, where our executives will wait to welcome you warmly. Embrace your heart, as you’re about to enter Bhutan. Travel through Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan, which takes around 5 hours of a drive. It adjoins with India’s Jaigaon, which is the reason the economy thrives here. Enjoy the commercial center of northern India, as you reach Phuentsholing. Check in at the hotel and spend the night.

Day 2: Phuentsholing – Thimphu

After breakfast, finish all the immigration formalities at Phuentsholing before embarking on a drive to Thimphu. It is the largest city of Bhutan. Thus, also a capital city. Take a break from the drive at a Crocodile National Zoo, where you will witness how crocodiles are bred and nurtured. These monstrous creatures have a certain innocence and allure to them, as you’ll witness. It is certainly a thrilling experience of Bhutan Travel.
Resume your drive, and upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Visit Tashichho Dzong, the fortress of the glorious religion. Believed to be founded by the first Dharam raja, it is the chief government building of Bhutan where royalty resides. It is a grandiose tour, full of culturally rich history and exciting stories — a perfect way to experience Bhutan. After the tour, return to stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Thimphu – Paro

After breakfast, on your way to Paro from Thimphu, visit Lamperi. The Royal Botanical Park has a flourishing flora and fauna with extensive diversity. Witness unique species of plants and animals that will astonish you with their awe-inspiring magnificence. Upon reaching Paro, check into the hotel. This place is famous for its dense local market. Buy a souvenir, associate with the locales, or spend your evening however you’d like. Good night’s sleep at the hotel.

Day 4: Hike to Taktsang

After breakfast,pack for Bhutan Trekking because as you will go to Taktsang. Two hours in, you will find yourself coming across Tiger’s Next, Taktsang Monastery. It is the place of the tutelary deity of Bhutan, Padmasambhava, who introduced people to Buddhism. The sacred site comprises of thirteen caves, primarily known as ‘tiger’s lair,’ where Padmasambhava meditated for over three years in peace. If you’re a spiritualist, this is a must-visit place to replenish your divinity and soothe your soul.

Upon returning from Taktsang, you have the rest of the day to yourself. The hotel will be available for the night stay at Paro.

Day 5: Paro – Phuentsholing

Before returning to Phuentsholing, you have an option to explore the locality of Paro one more time. Visit Drukgyel Dzong, Ta Dzong, Airport View Point, and other captivating sights. Take your time to capture the essence of the place in the form of photographs. Once you are in content, you shall drive back to Phuentsholing for six hours. Check in at the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 6: Phuentsholing – NJP/IXB Airport

Final chance to buy any souvenirs and take one last glance at Bhutan. You will return to your home by reaching NJB or IXB Station from where you will take the transport back at home. Relinquish in the flashback of the rejuvenating experience and memories you created when you visit Bhutan.
